The Old Shippon is situated within an historic farm courtyard setting, (with its own private entrance and garden) where some of the buildings are thought to have dated from the medieval period. The land has been farmed on this site for many hundreds, (possibly thousands) of years, the farm being recorded in the Doomesday book. When renovating the property, significant attention was paid to its historic setting and maintaining its character as an historic agricultural building, whilst providing accommodation of the highest standard.
Also with the British weather in mind we have tried to make the property as comfortable as possible, so if the weather closes in, you can just snuggle up in front of the wood burner with a coffee and good book
